At Trustindex we truly believe in honesty and trust, since it is the foundation of our Website. Our philosophy is that trusting and being honest with each other leads to benefits for all of us. Our honest experiences and the trust that we place regarding these experiences are the basis of what we do here at Trustindex. Other than the principles and goals mentioned above we also believe our users are entitled to be in control of their Personal Data (as defined below), which is why we carry out all our processing operations in compliance with European Union General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information ("Privacy Act").
Collected Information and Data

When you visit the Trustindex Website, please note, that you provide us with two types of information: personal information collected by Trustindex, that you knowingly choose to disclose, and information used by the Website (also collected by Trustindex) as you interact with the Website. When you register on the Website, please note that you provide us certain personal information (for example your name and your e-mail address). However, this information will be kept private, and we hereby claim that it will not be used to track individual activity. Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on the Website is a violation of the Trustindex Terms of Service and should be immediately reported to support@trusintdex.io
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our Website, we will ask you for your friend's email address. We will automatically send an email to the designated person to visit the Website. Trustindex stores this information to send this specific email, to register this specific person in connection of your invitation. In case your invitation is accepted, we use this information to track the success of our referral program. The person designated may contact us at (support@trusintdex.io) to request that we remove this information from our database.
Please note that Trustindex also offers tools to help businesses collect reviews from their customers. By using these tools, a business may provide Personal Data about its customers such as names, emails, and order numbers.
Children Under Age 13
Trustindex does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register to the Trustindex Website. In case you are under 13, please do not attempt to register on Trustindex or send any information about yourself to Trustindex, (this includes your name, address, telephone number or email address).
No one under the age 13 may provide any personal information to or on Trustindex. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will immediately delete that information as soon as possible. Children Between Ages of 13 and 18
We recommend that minors over the age of 13 ask for parental permission before sending or adding any information about themselves to Trustindex or in general, anyone over the Internet.
Protecting User’s Data
Trustindex takes appropriate precautions to protect every user’s data and information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. Since emails and instant messages are not recognized as secure communications, we request you not to send private information to Trustindex by email or instant messaging services. Use of Information Obtained by Trustindex
When you register on the Website, you create your own profile, and you may set your own privacy settings. Your profile information, including your first name, last initial and photo, are displayed to people in the Trustindex community to enable you to connect with people on Trustindex. We may occasionally use this information referred to above, to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Trustindex that we think you may find valuable.
Profile information is used by Trustindex primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service, and to be shared with others permitted by your own privacy settings to view that information. In the case where your privacy settings give permission, other Trustindex users may be able to supplement your profile.
Please note, that Trustindex reserves the right to send you notices about your account, even in case you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
Trustindex may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We may do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people in a particular network are interested in a certain business category, and to personalize advertisements and promotions. We believe that by enabling us and others to provide information that’s more likely to be interesting to you, is beneficial for you as a user of Trustindex. For example, if you indicated a favorite cosmetics or jewelry brand in your profile, you may see an advertisement highlighting a business that sells similar profiled cosmetics or jewelry, based on your demographic profile. However, we would not identify you individually to the business at hand.
The information collected from businesses using Trustindex’s review collection tools is used to send out customer feedback surveys, verify collected reviews, and allow businesses to address customer service issues.
Sharing Your Information with Third Parties
Trustindex does not provide contact information to third parties without your permission. We only share your information with third parties in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is (i) reasonable and necessary to offer the service, (ii) legally required or, (iii) specifically permitted (by you). For example:
- In case the ownership of all or substantially all of the Trustindex’s business, or individual business units owned by Trustindex were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue its full and unbothered operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to any pre-existing Privacy Policy.
- We may also provide information to service providers in order to help us bring you the services we offer. - Additionally, to point c) above, we may share accounts or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law regulations, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Trustindex Service or using Trustindex’s name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. This may include sharing information with legal representatives, other companies (third parties), competent authorities, agents, or government agencies.
- Lastly, we occasionally provide demonstration accounts that allow non-users to have a glimpse into Trustindex’s world. Such accounts have only limited capabilities and passwords are changed regularly to limit possible misuse.
Using Trustindex, certain information you post or share with third parties, (such as personal information, messages, posts, photos, or other information) may be shared with other users. Please note that all such sharing of information is at your own risk. Please keep in mind that if you chose to disclose personal information in your profile or when posting text, messages, photos, or other data, this information may become available to the public. Your email address and full last name will be kept private unless otherwise noted.
Video Reviews: Terms and Policies
Videos submitted on the Website may be published to YouTube using YouTube API Services. When creating and submitting a video, you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Please also refer to Google's Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information is handled and protected regarding their services.
Third Party Advertising
Advertisements that appear on the Trustindex Website are occasionally delivered directly to you by third party advertisers. When this happens these advertisers automatically receive your IP address. Please note, that these third-party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer or use other technologies such as “web beacons” (also known as “1x1 gifs”) and JavaScript to personalize ad content and to measure the effectiveness of their ads. Such activities allow the advertisers to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement. Trustindex does not have access or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party advertisers. Third party advertisers do not have access to your contact information stored on theWebsite (unless you choose to share this information with third party advertisers). The present Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Trustindex and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers. Trustindex uses Google Analytics, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, DoubleClick Platform integrations, and Google Adsense to collect data via Google advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers, in addition to data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave Trustindex’s Website to read the privacy policies and Terms of Service of other websites since each and every website collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Trustindex on the Trustindex Website.

Terms of Service, Notices and Revisions
Regarding the use of the Trustindex Website, and any disputes arising from this use, is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service at any time due to any reason or no reason at all. Non-material changes and clarifications will be effective immediately, and material changes will be effective within 30 days, after posting these changes on the Trustindex Website.
